We collaborated with @berkshirebrewco to distill their Oktoberfest Lager into our American Whiskey 🥃 .
This release is an important milestone for our #craftdistillery and we are really proud of the finished product! .
Sneak peak of what’s behind the label,
Best experienced neat or on the rocks. You’ll pick up the lingering hop notes of its past life as a brew and a wicked smooth and subtly sweet nutty texture that we can thank to 10 patient years aging in a blend of Bourbon and American oak whiskey casks!

It’s #whiskeywednesday over here at BMD and we are blending up some Berkshire Bourbon. .
As distillers we get the unique privilege of balancing the line between art and science. .
The congeners we appreciate in every fine spirit are produced during the fermentation process and once distilled over the nuanced cutting of heads, hearts, and tails distinguishes each distiller’s product
. .
The different cuts chosen in the final run of each distillate is part of what makes us, well us, Berkshire Mountain Distillers. . .
Samuel Bronfman said it best, “Distilling is a science. Blending is an art.”

Here’s a fun #whiskeywednesday fact to get you through the rest of the week.
There are a few boxes to check off before you get to legally call your spirit a Bourbon, one being that the mash bill must be at least 51% corn. Ours is 72% 🌽 all coming from @riverhillfarms .
